Toto to help expand Women’s Eredivisie coverage

Toto, the flagship sports betting brand of Nederlandse Loterij, will serve as a principal partner of the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie.

The partnership sees Toto continue to expand its presence within Dutch women’s pro-football, in which the betting brand serves as principal sponsor of the women’s teams for PSV, ADO Den Haag, Heerenveen and FC Twente.

Beginning on Friday 8 September, the Women’s Eredivisie enters a critical 2023/2024 season in which broadcaster ESPN will double the number of live matches broadcast on the Azerion media platform.

Key coverage will see ESPN broadcast a live Women’s Eredivisie match on Saturdays at 2pm, made available to all Dutch audiences as a free to air programme sponsored by Toto.

Toto underlined its commitment to working with the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) and

Azerion the main sponsor of the Women’s Eredivisie, to ensure that the league’s commercial and social objectives are met in the 2023/2024 season.

As such, Toto stands by its proud track-record as a sponsor of Dutch sports since 1957, providing betting and lottery funds to all Dutch sports stakeholders (amateur, grassroots and pro).

Joost Zuure, head of sponsorship and beneficiaries of Nederlandse Loterij: “As the biggest supporter of sport, Nederlandse Loterij wants everyone to play sports and move. We contribute to this every year by passing on a large part of our proceeds to sport.”

“Moreover, we explicitly support women’s soccer. Also with our game TOTO, as sponsor of four Women’s Eredivisie clubs and as of this season as proud partner of the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie. More exposure makes the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie the inspiration for every soccer player.”
