lottomatica Stats Perform

Lottomatica has partnered with Stats Perform for an enhancement of the operator’s sports betting brands, GoldBet and Better, with the sportstech firm’s tennis content.

The Italian firm will integrate the London-based sports data and tech supplier’s Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays into its two brands, including on-screen real-time betting stats based on Stats Perform’s Opta data.

In doing so, Lottomatica has become the first Italian company to adopt Stats Perform’s tech for football and the first globally to integrate the offering for tennis betting.

Sportsbook Director Betting & Digital Italy at Lottomatica Paolo Manzo said: “The next generation of live streaming has arrived on the goldbet.it and better.it sportsbook.

“We focus relentlessly on enhancing the customer experience and Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays from Stats Perform are powerful tools helping us make every live sports stream more entertaining and more valuable for our customers.

“We’re proud to be the first sportsbook in the world to offer highlights and overlays for tennis live streams – a really important sport for our customers.”

On-screen betting stats included are expected goals, live win probability, player and team shots, fouls, corners and more, displayed seamlessly over the top of Stats Perform’s football and tennis live streams.

Also featured are live video streams of football games and highlights reels from Stats Perform’s international league partners, covering goals, shots and targets and red cards from tournaments such as LaLiga, Ligue 1 and Brazil Serie A football and WTA and Australian Open tennis.

Andrew Ashenden, Stats Perform’s Chief Betting Officer, said: “The growth in bettor entertainment and user retention from Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays is what the sports betting industry has long needed from the live streaming experience.

“We are proud to share a joint vision with Lottomatica on the role these features have on making sports betting more entertaining.”

Lottery firm Lottomatica has been targeting an enhanced profile for its sportsbook operations, having acquired betting brand BetFlag, as online growth continues to drive revenue for the company.

Meanwhile, Stats Perform is also seeking to further capitalise on opportunities in sports betting via a series of product launches, most recently unveiling its ‘Light Up Your Sportsbook’ range to showcase the potential of live streaming.

Stats Perform’s Director of Betting, Southern Europe, Vincenzo Zeppillo, added: “We’re delighted to help Lottomatica be the first to bring such a high level of sports entertainment to their tennis customers and confident Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays will be a huge success, as they are for football”.
