Jackpocket has been named as one of Built In’s ‘Best Places To Work In 2023’, the second year in a row the firm has been recognised for its efforts in the field.
The third-party lottery app first received the honour at the beginning of 2022 for its New York headquarters and has retained its status a year later, this time adding its West Coast office in Santa Barbara to the list.
The offices received placements on four lists: New York City Best Places to Work, Los Angeles Best Places to Work, New York City Best Midsize Places to Work and Los Angeles Best Midsize Places to Work.

Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on a special algorithm, using company data about compensation and benefits. The programme also weighs criteria like remote work and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.
The honour bestowed upon Jackpocket follows a year of expansion across the US states; by the end of last year, the company was operational in 14 states, adding the likes of West Virginia and Idaho to its portfolio.
Earlier this month, the firm continued its expansion plans by launching in its 15th state, Texas, in collaboration with the retailer Circle K.
