IZI Group, the operator of the National Lottery of Malta, has penned an agreement with SIS (Sports Information Services) for the provision of 24/7 live racing content across its retail sports betting brand.

As part of the agreement, SIS will provide IZIBET, IZI Group’s retail betting brand, with its 24/7 Live Racing Content service, offering over 30,000 horse races and 38,000 greyhound fixtures annually.

Dave Richardson, Commercial Manager (UK & Europe) at SIS, said: “This latest boost to our profile is the result of our strategy of partnering with the right brands that we can confidently move forward with.

“IZIBET is a well-known and trusted brand in Malta, and this deal offers us incredible access to a thriving retail market. We’re delighted to be able to offer even more bettors the best racing products currently available.”

Further outcomes of the deal include live-streamed pictures, data, commentary, and on-screen graphics, alongside betting triggers across various markets and prices.

It comes at the end of a successful year for IZI Group, which secured the National Lottery of Malta licence for the next 10 years after winning in a €105m bid.

This latest deal represents a strengthening of IZI Group’s presence in Maltese gambling, enhancing its retail activity in the nation.

Franco De Gabriele, Chief Commercial Officer of IZI Group, added: “We are very excited to extend our collaboration with SIS for all our customers of the National Lottery.

“We have been working with SIS for several years, providing a compelling horse racing product through our network of IZIBET Shops.

“Through the takeover of the National Lottery of Malta earlier this year, we are glad to have extended the SIS horse racing betting service to a network of over 200 outlets across Malta, creating the largest retail sports betting network in Malta under a single brand.”
