Greentube, the division of Novomatic Interactive, has been issued with a supplier certification from the World Lotteries Association (WLA).

The honour has been granted in recognition of the its Plurius omni-channel solution, which supplies Luxembourg’s state-owned National Lottery.

Greentube noted in its announcement: “The WLA SCS:2020 Level 2 accreditation further underlines the company’s commitment to security and risk management across its products and systems, and will enable it to strike new partnerships with WLA members, comprising the world’s leading lottery operators.”

The accreditation was made possible through Greentube’s ISO 27001 certification, which it has held since 2019, and Novomatic’s existing membership of the WLA.

The WLA carried out a ‘comprehensive’ assessment of Greentube Plurius and its operations before awarding its Level 2 certification, which has only been granted to approximately 30 suppliers.

Georg Gubo, COO at Greentube, commented: “This certificate demonstrates how serious we take security and risk management and being recognised by the WLA is an important step as we seek to collaborate with leading lotteries such as Loterie Nationale Luxembourg and offer our Plurius solution to new partners.

“Being acknowledged as a trusted supplier to the industry is crucial and we work hard to ensure we adhere to the highest international standards.”

Last year, Greentube struck a distribution deal with Lottoland to expand its operations into the UK and Gibraltar.

This agreement gave Lottoland access to its slot games such as Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe, Sizzling Hot deluxe and Book of Ra deluxe.
