German state lottery operator Toto-Lotto Niedersachsen is set to be provided with 2,400 units of Carrus Gaming’s latest generation of camera-based ELITE terminals.
The fleet of terminals will be delivered in time for rollout throughout the German state of Lower Saxony in 2023, with the new design made to ensure more efficient processing for play slips, receipts and instant tickets, as well as offering new opportunities for generating innovative play slips for special events.
Axel Holthaus and Sven Osthoff, the co-CEOs of Toto-Lotto Niedersachsen, commented: “Our organisation has been delighted by the performance of the camera-based ELITE-S terminal.
“This latest technology will provide a very common user-experience to the clerks in the retailer stores and therefore indirectly to our players, because nowadays people are used to taking pictures from everything and have them processed by devices. This way we bring more modern life into our sales offices.
“Moreover, the terminals will be equipped with [the] latest technology, so that with the new terminals our players are offered much better services in our point of sales.”
Timothée Carrus, CEO of Carrus, added: “We are very excited to embark upon this new project with Toto-Lotto Niedersachsen and in doing so further extend our presence in the German lottery sector.
“We are also delighted to see our terminals, which showcase innovative imaging technology, setting the new market standard.”
