Sazkabet, the sports betting wing of the Czech National Lottery Sazka, has secured a deal with OpenBet for the Light & Wonder-owned firm to power its online and mobile sportsbook offering.
Part of the Allwyn Group – formerly the Sazka Group before its rebrand earlier this year – Sazka holds a Czech market sportsbook presence in Sazkabet.
The deal ensures that Sazkabet will leverage OpenBet’s fully managed turnkey platform, which includes a betting engine, full risk and liability management pricing, and a trading service covering various sports.

OpenBet has increased its foothold in the European sports betting market in recent times, with deals in place with operators such as Nederlandse Loterij and Fortuna.
The sports betting tech provider was also the subject of a takeover from Light & Wonder last week and the Sazkabet deal marks the first partnership of the new era for the company.
