Neccton has announced a working partnership with Rdentify, a firm that aims to identify at-risk gamblers using live-chat and other communication interactions.

The Austrian-based data science and software company has a presence in the lottery industry, partnering with several lotteries in Germany to identify and help reduce at-risk problem gambling activity.

Using its mentor system, Neccton tracks users’ betting and gambling activities alongside deposit frequencies amongst other metrics to flag the signs of problem gambling, providing such services to Lotto Hessen, Lotto NZ and the Atlantic Lottery

Adding Rdentify’s ML model is set to enhance Neccton’s player protection mechanisms.

Neccton’s Data Scientist, Psychologist & Gambling Researcher, Dr Michael Auer, commented: “We can finally add NLP analysis to our real-time behavioural analytics. This leads to an even better understanding of player behaviour and detection of problem gambling.”

Partnering with Rdentify allows Neccton to utilise its machine learning models to identify signs of problem gambling through users’ live chat, emails and chatbot interactions.

Rdentify’s founder and CEO, Daniel Brooks, added: “We are delighted to announce the launch of a new partnership with Neccton, a leader in real-time data analytic Responsible Gambling and AML solutions.

“Neccton products will complement the state-of-the-art Rdentify suite which identifies at-risk customers in real-time during email, Live chat and Chatbot conversations. This is a key component of our strategy to assist businesses to identify at-risk customers before they come to harm.”
