Jackpocket has signed an agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB) outfit the Minnesota Twins to become the official digital lottery partner of the Twins.

Marking Jackpocket’s entry into the MLB sponsorship horizon, the third-party lottery firm will provide fans with giveaway VIP tickets, field tours, and other unique experiences for Twins fans and app customers.

“With Opening Day recently behind us, we look forward to bringing Twins fans a new way to play the lottery with this partnership,” said Jackpocket CEO Peter Sullivan. “This is Jackpocket’s first-ever partner in MLB, and I’m looking forward to this season filled with new opportunities and growth.”

Under the provisions of the agreement, Jackpocket will sponsor the Twins’ ‘Hits’ series, in which each time a Twins player makes a hit in a game, fans can earn the opportunity to win free lottery tickets via the app.

Furthermore, the MLB side will give away free lottery tickets during high jackpot moments and provide chances to win tickets through the Jackpocket apps.

“We are thrilled to deliver our fans exciting new ways to engage with baseball, Target Field and the lottery,” added Twins Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Meka Morris

“Jackpocket is a perfect partner for the Twins as we continue to evolve our digital and game day experiences to meet our fans where they are.”
Jackpocket has agreed a range of sporting partnerships in recent months following its Series D funding round. It currently has deals with sports clubs from NFL, NBA, NHL, and college athletics.
