Evolution has announced the launch of four Dual Play live gaming tables via Loto-Quebec’s land-based Montreal Casino.

The online gaming provider’s Dual Play tables aim to “embody land-based and online casino convergence” by permitting players at baccarat and roulette tables in land-based venues and online to play alongside each other in the same live games.

Evolution’s four live gaming tables are split equally between baccarat and roulette.

Loto-Quebec has become the first lottery corporation and online game provider to offer Evolution’s Dual Play solutions in Canada, with the two companies building on a partnership that began in 2018.

“Live Casino is the natural bridge between land-based and online, and with Dual Play we have developed a product exclusive to land-based casinos that want to explore their online potential,” commented Jeff Millar, Commercial Director, North America at Evolution.

Initially, Loto-Quebec offered six Evolution dedicated tables to live casino players, hosted at Evolution’s studio in Vancouver.

Subsequently, the lottery’s online casino has expanded to include the full range of Evolution’s live tables, streamed live from its European studios.

Earlier this month, Loto-Quebec professed its pride after revealing its financial results for the first three quarters of the fiscal year.

For the third quarter of FY2021, the lottery generated total revenues of $619.9m, an increase of 70.1% from the same period in the previous financial year.
