MUSL and Powerball reelect board members for FY2022

The Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) has reelected Sarah M Taylor, the Executive Director of the Hoosier Lottery, as its Board President for FY2022.

The Board of Directors of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) has reelected Sarah M Taylor, the Executive Director of the Hoosier Lottery, as its Board President for the fiscal year 2022.

Taylor has held the position since July 2020 and has also served as the Board’s Vice President.

Commenting on her appointment, she said: “It’s a privilege to continue to lead (MUSL) as we set our sights on exciting days ahead for the Powerball brand. Our mission remains to provide our member lotteries with world-class games to maximise profits responsibly for good causes. We will be focused on sales of existing products and continued innovation.”

MUSL additionally announced that Rose Hudson, President and CEO of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation, and Norm Lingle, the Executive Director of the South Dakota Lottery, will return for a second term and remain in their positions as Board Vice President and Secretary respectively through FY2022.

The Powerball Product Group will also reelect its slate of officers for another year, as May Scheve Reardon, the Executive Director of the Missouri Lottery, will lead as its Group Chair, assisted by Vice Chair Drew Svitko, the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Reardon stated: “There’s been a lot of groundwork this past year to revitalize the Powerball game and brand. Along with my fellow directors and lottery partners, I look forward to seeing these efforts come to fruition in the next year.”

The Lotto America Product Group will also be led for a second term by Chair John Myers, Director of the West Virginia Lottery, and Vice Chair Adam Prock, the Executive Director of the Minnesota Lottery.
