Singapore Pools appoints Kaikhushru S Nargolwala as its new Chairman

Singapore Pools Limited, a state-owned lottery subsidiary company in Singapore, has appointed Kaikhushru S Nargolwala as its new Chairman, effective immediately.

Nargolwala will succeed Koh Choon Hui in the position of Chairman, who is stepping down after eight years with the company.

Nargolwala has been Singapore Pools’ Deputy Chairman since January 2021. He brings four decades of experience in the financial services sector and is currently on the Board of PSA International Pte Ltd, Credit Suisse AG and is the Chairman of 65 Equity Partners Pte Ltd.

Holding a first-class Honors Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, he has also been awarded the Public Service Star Medal (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat) in recognition of his service to Singapore.

Koh Choon Hui was appointed Singapore Pools Chairman in June 2013. Under his leadership, the company has worked towards being a responsible gaming operator in line with the highest level of international responsible gaming standards.

Koh played a key role in setting up iShine Cloud, a charity that provides other charities with affordable cloud-based solutions, as well as the Singapore Pools Academy, formed to institutionalise learning capabilities and programmes developed by the company.
