Lottery supplier Carmanah Signs has appointed digital lottery and omnichannel expert Jason Barrs as its new Vice President of Product Marketing.

Formerly Senior Director of Technology Services at IGT, Barrs brings extensive lottery retail marketing experience to Carmanah’s customers and industry partners, with a total of 15 years in roles dedicated to technology, product marketing, and omnichannel product management.

President and CEO Cameron Waldie commented: “Jason arrives at the perfect time. Digital sign marketing technologies are moving from early into mass adoption, and he will positively contribute to our customers’ retail digital transformation.”

Carmanah noted that Barrs’ passion for the intersection of business, technology, and marketing makes him a ‘perfect addition’ as he suits the lottery supplier’s ‘customer-driven culture of innovation, collaboration, and retail transformation’.

Carmanah is the lottery and gaming division of Stratacache, a provider of intelligent digital signage and in-store marketing technology.
