Intralot and its subsidiary, Intralot Australia, has secured a contract extension with Lotterywest from January 2022 until January 2026 through annual extensions.

Intralot will continue to provide its lottery operating system and services to the state lottery in Western Australia.

The extension of the partnership is an endorsement, said the firm, of the successful implementation of its Lotos open architecture platform and advanced retail terminals designed to drive player engagement.

For the last 13 years, Intralot has enabled Lotterywest to establish a responsible gaming environment and fulfill its purpose in contributing to good causes for the Western Australian community.

Marios Mitromaras, Intralot Australia CEO stated: “We are proud to extend our strong and solid collaboration with Lotterywest, an esteemed lottery operator with extreme contribution to the West Australian society.

“This extension represents the confidence in Intralot’s lottery technology, systems and support.”

Last month, Intralot announced a loss in its financial results for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2020, mainly due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
