Française des Jeux (FDJ) has relaunched its ‘Mission Patrimoine 2020’ national heritage campaign to support French tourism in recovering from COVID-19 impacts.

Helping maintain French cultural landmarks and projects, this September FDJ will host five exclusive Mission Patrimoine lotto draws which will contribute direct funds to France’s ‘National Heritage Foundation’.

Marked as a key 2020 social responsibility directive, FDJ has further launched a €15 ‘Heritage Scratchcard’ which will be made available across its 30,000 retail sales points.

Supporting French tourism, FDJ’s new scratchcard includes a bonus QR code incentive, in which participating players will be able to win prizes to visit French heritage landmarks across the country.

All funds raised by Mission Patrimoine will be tracked by the campaign’s dedicated website – www.illiko.fr  – where FDJ players will be able to view their bonus prizes.

Raising public awareness of its heritage directives, FDJ has launched a national advertising campaign to promote Mission Patrimoine draws and scratchcards this September across national broadcast networks.

Launching the campaign, FDJ urged its retail partners to rally quickly on promoting Mission Patrimoine as France’s national lottery operator seeks to break its €47 million fundraising target, raised from previous heritage campaigns

Noting severe COVID-19 impacts across its retail network, FDJ leadership was forced to implement an immediate ‘costs savings programme’ for the remainder of 2020 trading.

Despite imminent cutbacks, FDJ leadership has maintained that its social responsibility mandate and projects will remain unaffected.

CEO Stéphane Pallez said: “FDJ is proud to participate in the restoration of national heritage, thanks to its games and the mobilization of its players. This year again, we hope to renew the success of the Mission Patrimoine games and thus contribute to this great and great cause.”
