Eagles fans set to soar following Pennsylvania Lottery deal

As reported by the Philadelphia Business Journal, a deal has been announced between National Football League (NFL) franchise the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Financial terms of the partnership are being kept confidential, however, it has been revealed that the deal, which will see the launch of a second-chance drawing for lottery players, will allow any individual to enter any non-winning $5 Eagles Fast Play tickets into the contest between now and October 8.

Prizes to be included in the second-chance competition will include autographed Eagles items; tickets to Eagles games; invites to “Eagles Insider” events featuring former Eagles players; and bonus money to be used on playing the Pennsylvania Lottery online.

A statement released by Eagles vice president of corporate partnerships, Brian Napoli, read: “We are looking forward to working with the Pennsylvania Lottery on bringing Eagles fans closer to the team through one-of-a-kind experience prizes.”

The deal builds on a pre-established relationship between both organisations that has seen them work together on multiple promotions including the offering of a $5 scratch-off ticket in  2009.

Regarding entry into the second-chance draw, lottery players can gain access to the competition via the VIP Players Club at palottery.com or scan-to-enter using the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Official App, with the winners being announced at palottery.com.
