Scientific Games has been awarded a new six-year contract from the South Carolina Education Lottery, which helps to fund educational programs in the state.

SG has designed and manufactured all instant games sold in South Carolina since the lottery was launched in 2002, to date delivering nearly $4bn in lottery contributions to education in South Carolina.

Since 2014, the lottery’s instant game sales have grown 10.6 per cent and also boasts the top-performing $10 instant-game portfolio in the US, featuring more than 20 games per year.

The new contract, awarded after a competitive procurement process, includes warehousing and distribution services with a new distribution facility, lottery mobile app and interactive services, and may be extended for one further year.

“We have accomplished great results over the past 18 years, working with Scientific Games as our primary instant games provider to offer enjoyable game entertainment for South Carolina players while providing vital support for state educational programs,” said Hogan Brown, Executive Director, South Carolina Education Lottery.
