A new daily draw game has been launched by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Lottery which offers players a chance to win up to AED 2,500 (approx £500) every day.
Pick 3, which costs only AED 5 (approx £1) per entry, requires players to pick three numbers each between zero and nine.
Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game LLC, commented: “The launch of the ‘Pick 3’ daily draw means we are enabling our participants to continue to dream big every single day by introducing more variety in our games and giving them opportunities to win exciting cash prizes.”
The UAE Lottery – operated by The Game LLC – is one of only six state-owned national lotteries in the Middle East while the UAE is one of only six Muslim majority countries worldwide to have an official national lottery.
The new launch sees prize options of AED 425, AED 850, or AED 2,500, whilst ‘Any 3’ gives players who select two identical numbers appearing in any order a chance to win AED 850, and the option of ‘Any 6’ offers players a chance to win AED 425 if they match any three chosen numbers in any order.
To win the biggest prize AED 2,500, players need to match the three selected numbers in the exact order they are drawn.
The ‘Pick 3’ daily draw also offers an ‘Easy Pick’ option which allows players to randomly select their three numbers in a lucky dip style.
Woosley added: “Players can now enjoy a broader range of games to play, all within the secure and regulated framework of The UAE Lottery, ensuring operational integrity and transparency.”
It is important to note that the UAE Lottery is subject to strict regulatory requirements, and in recent months the sector has been looking to establish exclusion zones throughout the country where no form of gambling will be permitted.
The government therefore sees geolocation as a necessary regulatory requirement to enforce this, which Game LLC is now making use of ahead of planned nationwide launch later this year.
In other news, Veikkaus’ game development studio, Fennica Gaming, has become the latest supplier to secure licence approval in the country. This itself came not long after Scientific Games, one of the biggest partners to the global lottery sector, secured a supplier licence last month.
Approval from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) will now allow Fennica to provide its Games as a Service offering to licensed operators in the Emirates, building on the Finnish company’s international reach.
