SBC Leaders: Tenlot’s Yossi Abadi on Latin American growth and the importance of localisation

Yossi Abadi, founder and CEO of Tenlot, highlighted the importance of acting in a localised manner when entering new regions with less mature markets to create a connection with its players.

Speaking on the SBC Leaders Podcast, Abadi explained to SBC’s Global Relations Director Kelly Kehn how his firm identified the need to enter the Central American region, citing much less innovative lottery products in the region.

Lottoland’s Sophie Wood: Industry is ‘ripe for collaboration’ on diversity and inclusion

The betting and gaming industry has an opportunity to work collaboratively on diversity and inclusion to stem growth, according to Lottoland’s Learning and Development Partner, Sophie Wood.

Also working as the firm’s Co-Lead on Diversity and Inclusion, Wood noted that whilst individual companies act competitively in most operational areas, diversity and inclusion should be an open debate as no singular company should benefit from it.

SAZKA Entertainment confirms rebrand to Allwyn as global efforts intensify

Czech gambling conglomerate SAZKA Entertainment rebranded its business identity to Allwyn, the brand used by its UK subsidiary that seeks to become the next steward of the National Lottery. 

Recognised as Europe’s largest lottery operator, SAZKA stated that its rebrand reflected the group’s “effort to reposition as a global business”, as a result of the recent transformation of its operations and enlargement of its business through strategic M&As.

Intralot hails ‘strong operational performance’ as EBITDA jumps 82.5%

Intralot SA praised its operational performance as the group’s trading benefited from a reorganised structure, resulting in an EBITDA increase of 82.5%.

Publishing its nine-month 2021 trading report, Intralot registered group year-to-date revenues of €302.8m, up 24.4% on the previous year’s total of €243.4m.
