During a meeting with the Brazilian Federation of Lottery Companies (Febralot), the Brazilian lottery operator Caixa introduced Matheus Neves Sinibaldi as its new Vice President Operator Agent (VIMAR).

As reported by BNL Data, Neves Sinibaldi will be in charge of managing CAIXA’s Lottery and Administration Funds, after 20 years of experience in different positions in the state entity.

The new Vice President said: “When managing the People’s Executive Directory (DEPES), which concerns 84,500 employees, I coordinated all the tactical, structural and strategic actions related to Caixa’s Human Resources.”

“Throughout my managerial career, I had the opportunity, along with the collegiate, to boost, develop, instruct and train several collaborators, generating successors and developing people who eventually were promoted and committed to the purpose of building a strong and sustainable company.”

He added: “To achieve these results and incentivize employees, I use skills that I consider essential, such as analytical capacity, systemic thinking, the ability to move people, always with the right attitude to solve complex problems and deliver sustainable results.”

The renewal of authorities in Caixa, the Brazilian public bank that manages lotteries in the country, comes after the Supreme Court ruling in which it established the end of the lottery monopoly and set that each state has the capacity to launch its own service.

In the case of Rio de Janeiro, one of the most advanced states in regards to its own lottery, the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj) could also become a sports betting operator, setting a precedent for other organizations.
