Groupe Française des Jeux (FDJ) has ranked second amongst French companies in ‘gender parity’ rated by independent workplace and employment ratings agency Humpact Emploi.

France’s national lottery operator was highly praised for its transparent and inclusive company policies and recruitment practices, scoring the highest results for Paris Euronext group.

Founded in 2019, Humpact Emploi is an independent French enterprise ratings agency evaluating business performance for workplace and social responsibility competences.

Ranking second on the agency’s ‘Grand Prix Index‘, FDJ was commended for its strong promotion of equality across all segments of its business.

Humpact Emploi noted that as of 2019 onwards, its percentage of female senior managers had almost reached 50-50 parity with male employees, with the company maintaining an equal pay policy across its ranks.

Of note, FDJ scored high marks for its progressive employee policies allowing extended paternal leave and employees to access educational programs and participate in community social care directives.

The FDJ noted that progress on company parity had been an ongoing effort since its 2017 reform of the company’s human resources and talent development strategies.

Groupe FDJ Human Resources Director Vincent Perrotin said: “We are proud of the score by Humpact on our social policies and, in particular, to our commitment to the area of professional equality between women and men.

“This assessment illustrates our desire to develop an ambitious human resources policy, such as to achieve and maintain a high level of extra-financial performance.”

Last month, FDJ board of directors appointed Françoise Gri as an independent director, replacing Marie-Ange Debon for the remainder of her term, until 2023.
