SOFTSWISS has become the first technology provider to join Brazil’s National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL).

The organisation represents licensed operators from Brazil’s betting and lottery market, cooperating with regulators and government bodies to lay the foundations of a sustainable market infrastructure through dialogue about responsible gambling and compliance.

Carla Dualib, Business Development Manager at SOFTSWISS for Brazil, also joined the ANJL Board as Communications Director while still maintaining her role with the iGaming software provider.

With roots dating back to 2009, SOFTSWISS has become a prominent tech partner in the lotteries and in the wider gambling ecosystem.

The firm has established commercial relationships with more than 1,200 global brands as the premier supplier of its proprietary sportsbook platform, casino platform, game aggregator, and affiliate management solutions.

It also issues its own report on annual iGaming trends, analysing key market drivers and how technology evolves each year.

Dualib joined the company in 2023, bringing three decades of experience in marketing, sports and business development, while becoming a key figure in SOFTSWISS’ vision for Brazil prior to the market becoming licensed in 2025.

On the prospects present in the Latin American country, Dualib added: “Brazil’s regulated market is entering a new phase where communication, collaboration, and shared standards matter more than ever.

“ANJL plays an essential role in bringing the industry together, and I am honoured to contribute to initiatives that support responsible growth and a strong long-term market framework.”

Dualib was greeted for her arrival at the ANJL by President Plinio Lemos Jorge, who added: “We have been looking for this kind of expertise to strengthen our communications and industry engagement. Carla brings strong credibility in Brazil and a deep understanding of the market. Her role aligns with ANJL’s mission to support a transparent and sustainable regulated sector.”
