SG provides US entry boost to Tipico

Lottery services provider Scientific Games has announced that it is set to power Tipico’s new iGaming offering in New Jersey after a deal between both organisations was secured that will see it deliver its OpenGaming product suite.

As a result of the deal, Scientific Games will now support the international sportsbook operator’s entry into the US market, with the service provider now providing it not only with its fully-licensed Open Gaming System aggregation platform, but also with access to its comprehensive library which consists of over 2,000 games, ranging from in-house developed titles and third-party content.

Regarding Tipico’s US market debut, the sportsbook is widely expected to enter the market shortly however it is currently awaiting necessary regulatory licensing, starting with the state of New Jersey. 

The deal with Scientific Games and the subsequent launch of SG Digital’s OpenGaming ecosystem will now provide Tipico with an upgraded iGaming offering that is expected to aid it in attracting new players in New Jersey.

As it stands, Scientific Games’ OpenGaming portfolio has already witnessed success in New Jersey through its delivery of ‘cutting edge’ features, such as Free Rounds and Jackpots, as well as due to its comprehensive library of titles. 

Moreover, Tipico is also set to launch a new online casino towards the end of 2020 which is expected to further complement the operator’s proprietary sports betting platform.
