Mkodo to host exclusive WLA webinar

Digital user experience organisation and ilottery specialist mkodo has announced it will host an exclusive webinar for World Lottery Association (WLA) members focused on designing digital products for accessibility and responsible gaming (RG).

Taking place on June 4, the webinar will explore how excellent user experience (UX) is an important facet in regard to building trust through equality and transparency.

The webinar is also set to touch on and discuss best practices to make complex RG tools easy to find and understand, as well as how to design personalisation into RG, prompting action to keep players safe.

Mkodo’s Creative Director, Tom Atfield, stated: “WLA member operators are expected to set the standard of accessibility and responsible gaming with their digital offering, yet building fully inclusive products can be complex.

“We are looking forward to sharing key learnings on how ilotteries can go above and beyond the benchmark to ensure their products can be enjoyed safely by all.”

As alluded to by Atfield, WLA member lotteries are required to ensure their digital products are as inclusive as possible, while promoting safe play for all. Moreover, operators need to consider best practices in the design, development and upkeep.

Atfield, who has amassed eight years’ experience of award-winning design for regulated ilottery and gaming products with organisations such as ALC, BCLC, Danske Spil and WCLC, will be presenting the webinar.

The event gets underway at 3pm (BST) and will consist of a 30-minute broadcast followed by a 15-minute Q&A.
