The Florida Lottery has launched a new family of scratch-off games to welcome in the final stretch towards the Christmas season.
Unveiling the Christmas promotion, the lottery is adding four new card games ranging in price from $1 to $10, featuring over 19.5m tickets. In addition, there is a $20 Gold Rush Limited game, which is available in a special, limited-edition holiday version for the season.
The four games vary in prizes and odds of winning with the lottery offering the games between November 1 and December 31.
The $10 Holiday Winnings Blowout game features prizes of $50, $100, and $500, boasting more than $211m in cash prizes across the available cards. The $1,000,000 Holiday Winnings game features more than $73m in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $1m.
The $50,000 Holiday Winnings game contains more than $36m in cash prizes, including 12 top prizes of $50,000. Lastly, the $10,000 Holiday Winnings game makes more than $14m available in cash prizes, including 16 top prizes of $10,000.
Scratch-off games make up over 75% of the lottery’s total sales, making them the most important product in its portfolio. In 2020/21, scratch-off ticket sales generated over $1.3bn for the state’s Education Enhancement Fund.
