Developments in the global gaming and lottery markets are a key focus in the latest issue of SBC Leaders magazine.

Robert Chvátal, CEO of SAZKA Group, explains why the lottery company took the decision to show confidence in the Greek market, before touching upon its bid for the UK National Lottery tender.

Also featuring in the magazine is an in-depth look into the National Lottery’s sponsorship of Team GB at the recent Olympic Games, followed by an exciting preview of the fast-approaching SBC Summit Barcelona

Elsewhere, speaking exclusively to SBC Leaders, Jette Nygaard-Anderson, CEO of Entain, shone a light on the first six months as CEO of a global betting and gaming company, expressing her excitement over the new opportunities for Entain across the world.

“Technology is all about what it can do to the player experience, how it generates excitement and even the social elements that it creates,” Nygaard-Andersen told SBC Leaders as she highlighted the ways technology can enable new consumer behaviours.

Heading south to Latin America, and Paysafe’s SVP Consumer, Digital Wallets Rupinder Singh gives a breakdown of why consumer behaviours, similar to the topography of the South American market, can often be very diverse.

Meanwhile, Troy Zurawski, CEO of Design Works Gaming, and Kent Young, CEO of Spin Games, kicked off our gaming section by questioning whether the US could be heading for a mobile versus land-based battle across the country. Read what they had to say here

In the fourth edition of SBC Leaders for 2021, Warren Murphy, Managing Director of Betting and Gaming at Sportradar, discusses why the automation of Live Odds trading has helped the company to scale up its soccer offering.

Scaling up its offering was a key theme for Mikael Lijtenstein, CEO of AstroPay, as he outlined the reasons why the company is taking its global payment solutions to the European market.
