ABACUS Solutions International Group (ABACUS) has announced the appointment of the Lottery industry veteran, Art Kiuttu on a consulting services basis.
Kiuttu’s appointment comes as ABACUS seeks to strengthen its position in the global lottery market. He joins after a long career in the industry, spending time with Scientific Games, IGT, and Oregon Lottery.
He began his lottery career as a sales representative with the Oregon Lottery before serving as Regional Sales Manager and was promoted to Sales Manager where he managed sales teams, corporate accounts, retail incentive programs, retailer training, retail merchandising, technical support and served as marketing liaison.
Following this, Kiuttu spent a 10-year stint on the vendor side, as a regional VP for Scientific games and Regional Director for IGT. He worked with lotteries across the US, Canada and Australia before becoming an industry consultant.
ABACUS is working towards the future of the lottery industry, combining existing retailer and consumer relations with technology. The company expressed its delight in securing the services of an industry expert.

Kiuttu received the NASPL Powers Award in 1993 for his work with multiple game marketing and the creation of the in-counter dispenser.
