The West Virginia Lottery has awarded a sports wagering interim supplier licence to VegasWinners Inc, a subsidiary of Winners Inc.

VegasWinners is a licensed sports gaming affiliate that provides sports betting enthusiasts with high-quality content, analysis, research, data, guidance and professional advice.

Following its sports wagering interim supplier licence approval, the company is now able to refer customers in the State of West Virginia to licensed sportsbooks in return for commission payments.

The State of West Virginia’s handle, which is the total amount wagered on sports, increased from over $226m in 2019 to over $419m in 2020, marking a year-on-year growth rate of over 84%. West Virginia’s total handle has soared to over $878m since its March 2018 launch.

VegasWinners is currently registered in several states and has made applications in additional states. It intends to get licenced in all states that allow online sports gambling.
