Loteria Romana, Romania’s Lottery, is launching a special draw campaign for those who have received at least one COVID-19 vaccination.
The ‘You vaccinate and win’ campaign offers players who have vaccinated the opportunity to win additional prizes totalling 100,000 lei. The initiative intends to encourage those that are eligible to get vaccinated.
General Manager Sebastian-Iacob Moga commented: “Vaccination is the only solution to hasten the end of this pandemic that changed the lives of many Romanians and the chance to return to a normal life. I am confident, like many of our fellow human beings, that only if we are healthy can we enjoy life and respond to the challenges offered to us.”
Between June 14 and June 27, players who have been vaccinated and who also purchase a lottery ticket for any of the Loto 6/49, Joker, or Loto 5/40 games will receive a free ticket for the ‘You vaccinate and win’ special draw.
For a chance to win, players will have to write their personal information on their tickets and then place them in special boxes found at the lottery’s offices.
One of five 10,000 lei prizes can be won by participants or the top prize of 50,000 lei. The lottery draws will take place on July 4 and will be broadcasted on Romania TV.
