Française des Jeux (FDJ), and its Corporate Foundation, have renewed their support for the Heritage Foundation by signing two new sponsorship agreements.

The FDJ Group is extending its commitment as a patron with €2m to the Heritage Foundation until 2024 and will support each year a specific project proposed by the foundation.

Meanwhile, the FDJ Corporate Foundation will contribute an endowment of €400,000 for the period 2021-2022, in support of the social and professional integration schemes deployed on the restoration sites of the selected sites.

Charles Lantieri, Group Managing Director and President of the Corporate Foundation, said: “We are proud to participate in the restoration of the national heritage through our Mission Heritage games, but also thanks to the patronage of the Group and its Foundation. The sponsorship reinforces the Group’s involvement in this shared cause throughout the country.”

Since the creation of the Heritage Mission, carried by Stéphane Bern and supported by the Heritage Foundation, the Mission Heritage games of FDJ have raised nearly €70m for the renovation of French heritage. The fourth edition of this dedicated game offering will begin in September 2021.

The Group and its Corporate Foundation have also been patrons of the Heritage Foundation since 2018. Their mobilisation has helped support the Heritage Foundation with €1.5m.

The sponsorship of the FDJ Foundation, dedicated to the financing of insertion sites, has enabled 350 people in three years to be supported on nine sites at risk restoration sites. The aim is to enable people who are far from employment to participate in these projects and, for the majority of them, to leave with qualifications or employment.

In the face of unemployment and social exclusion, the restoration of heritage is a source of professional opportunities, both to preserve the crafts of the restaurant industry and to promote the professional integration of people in difficulty.
