Svenska Spel renews Happy F&B as brand development agency

Svenska Spel has renewed its agreement with marketing agency Happy F&B as lead ‘brand development’ agency for the Swedish national lottery and games operator.

Svenska Spel has renewed its agreement with Stockholm marketing agency Happy F&B as lead ‘brand development’ agency for the Swedish national lottery and games operator.

The renewal follows an internal review carried out by Svenska Spel’s management which examined all company marketing disciplines and existing agency relationships.

Even though it has worked across the operator’s marketing campaigns since 2018, Happy F&B was required to re-pitch its agency services against potential new incumbents.

Joakim Mörnefält, Communications Director of Svenska Spel, said: “We are very happy to be able to extend with Happy F&B as our lead brand development agency. With their experience and expertise in strategy and design, they remain a valuable partner for Svenska Spel.”

With its new contract, Happy F&B will work alongside Forsman & Bodenfors, Svenska Spel’s new lead creative marketing agency, which took over the operator’s multimillion SEK advertising account last month.

The agency’s remit will focus on the strategic promotion of the lottery’s goodwill values and funds raised for numerous Swedish charities and social benefits.

Earlier this year, Svenska Spel launched its new nationwide campaign ‘Om Supporterskap’ (Our Support) highlighting its dedication to funding Swedish athletes taking part in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
