INTRALOT congratulates Idaho as $1bn landmark approaches

INTRALOT has congratulated its Idaho Lottery partner on its 2020 state return in which the operator announced $55.5m in total dividends for the fiscal year, an income that saw its total returns to the state reach $961.5m since its inception in 1989.

During this period, Idaho’s public schools and the state’s Permanent Building Fund have been the organisations which have benefited the most, with the near $1bn return being used to enhance public education, improve college campuses, and provide safe workforce buildings.

Dr Chris Dimitriadis, INTRALOT’s Group CEO, stated: “We would like to congratulate the Idaho Lottery for achieving an outstanding return to the State of Idaho and its citizens. We are grateful to the lottery for their trust and long-standing partnership and we look forward to continuing creating value and driving their growth through our state-of-the-art technology and advanced quality of services.”

The total dividend transferred to the Department of Education was $34,687,500. Of that amount, $20,812,500 is earmarked for use by the Department’s districts based on average daily attendance for public school maintenance and operations expenses. The remaining $13,875,000 is for the Department of Education’s Bond Levy Equalization Fund.

Byron Boothe, CEO of INTRALOT Inc commented: “The Idaho Lottery’s leadership and team’s accomplishments over the years, and especially this year (in returning over $55 million to the state during an unprecedented pandemic) are not only industry leading but frankly they are stellar. INTRALOT looks forward to our continued partnership and assisting in generating revenue for the great State of Idaho. Congratulations to our partners, the Idaho Lottery team.”
