Pennsylvania Lottery adds new games to online portfolio

Pennsylvania Lottery officials have revealed that players will now be able to purchase Cash4Life and Treasure Hunt tickets through the lottery’s online website at pailottery.com.

Through the online portal players will be able to choose their own numbers or select the ‘quick pick’ option to receive randomly selected numbers. Players will also be granted the  option of purchasing multiple tickets and advanced draws.

Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko, stated: “We are excited to announce that these two long-time player favorites have now been added to our online lineup of games.

“Back in January, we added Powerball and Mega Millions to our online platform. This is another part of our modernization effort to help us responsibly generate funds that benefit older Pennsylvanians, while meeting our players where they already are, which is online.”

In order to play PA Lottery games or purchase tickets online at pailottery.com, players must be 18 or older, sign up for an account and deposit funds in order to make a purchase. Regarding those looking to open a new account, individuals will be required to securely submit proof of identity and age.

Moreover, the online system will allow players to view their transaction history, which will include past and current drawings and plays, following the purchasing of tickets.

Svitko added: “By law, online lottery players must be physically located in the state of Pennsylvania to play for money and win prizes. As with all Lottery games, we urge players to play responsibly and always within their means.”

In addition to its verification systems, the online platform will also promote responsible play through its player-controlled settings which includes time limits, deposit limits and spend limits.

Players will be able to configure and customise these limits to suit their personal play style and budget, with the site also featuring a ‘cool-off’ period of up to 30 days as well as self-exclusion options for one year or five years.

The Pennsylvania Lottery has noted that tickets issued online cannot be canceled.
