Mendoza resumes its lottery draws

According to Decree 613, lottery and betting agencies in Mendoza, Argentina, have reopened following a sanitary protocol established by the provincial government. The resumption of draws now set to take place in a room located in the Casino Central.

“Late on Tuesday, the national government approved the protocols for new activities that we had proposed,” said Governor Rodolfo Suárez.

In order to follow a protocol to regulate the activity at local agencies, the government asked for employees and staff of the Provincial Institute of Gaming and Casinos (IPJyC) who carry out management services to commit to fulfill and enforce the hygiene and safety standards to conduct these activities.

As part of this initiative, the attention to the public will be limited to the last number of the National Identification Number (DNI), as established by Decree 563. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, people with a DNI ending in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be allowed at local agencies, while Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays will be reserved for people with a DNI ending in 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0.

The agencies will also restrict access to a small group of people, respecting the minimum distance and with facial protection. Designated personnel will be in charge of the draws, while no one else will be allowed to enter the Casino Central.

In addition, Lottery and Quiniela’s administrative tasks will be carried out in the offices of the IPJyC building in the city center.
